We Create Time

Elyse called me up and said, “Donna, I am tired of spending $100 a month to keep my Website up and running!”
I replied, “In the immortal words of Kwai Chang Caine from the greatest TV Show of all time, Kung Fu, I can help!”

First thing I did was rebuild her site in WordPress. Once all the pages and links were in place, I recreated the design using the Thesis Framework. Now, Elyse understood from the get go that it wouldn’t look IDENTICAL, but it would look similar.

Once Elyse approved of how everything looked on my test site, phase 2 began. We secured hosting at my very favorite Hosting Company in the entire universe, Dreamhost. And then we redirected the nameservers from her domain registrar from the old hosting company to Dreamhost. (This is the part that scares people but it’s actually really easy!)

Finally, I migrated the test site to the live server and told Elyse she could cancel her contract with the old company.

Not only is Elyse paying A LOT LESS, but she also likes the new design MORE THAN THE OLD ONE!!!

So how much Elyse saving? She was paying 100.00 a month to keep her site up. Now, she pays about 20.00 a month! That’s a big savings! PLUS she has total control of her site to update the pages how she sees fit! Now that democratization at it’s finest!
