I got a phone call from two guys calling themselves Stinky and Finky. In the background I could hear horns honking.
“Okay, what do you two clowns want?” I asked.
Turns out, those clowns wanted a Website.
And not just any kind of Website. They wanted a site that is easy for them to update and one that would have action and music and blinking lights!
You guessed it. I installed WordPress! And then I got to designing the loudest Website I could imagine! We did have one little minor disagreement. They wanted music that would automatically load and play when the page opened. I met them halfway where I made it easy for the reader to click a button to hear music but I refused to have music play automatically. Because auto background music is evil.
They did have a Website at one time but it had been deleted by their hosting company long ago. I was able to find their original Website via Internet archives and I was able to salvage some of their old content. I built out the pages and filled in the content blanks where needed. I trained them on how to update the Website and make changes if needed.
