The News Journal Article, ‘It’s where people find jobs’
Last Wednesday, I spoke at the Community Matters Networking Group on how to craft an amazing LinkedIn Profile. Aaron Nathans, a reporter for Delaware’s The News Journal contacted me to learn more. On Friday, he interviewed me and today his article was in the paper! Here it is:
‘It’s where people find jobs’
Proponents say LinkedIn can be invaluable for your career
BY AARON NATHANS • THE NEWS JOURNAL • NOVEMBER 15, 2010
It’s not as friendly as Facebook, not as hyper as Twitter.
But in a world already saturated with social media, having, and cultivating, a LinkedIn site is the professionally prudent thing to do, said several well-placed observers.

Facebook Business Page SPAM Filter and Friend Enhancement
Found two new updates to Facebook over the weekend. Here’s a video I made explaining these updates:
Construction Specifications Institute Presentation
At around 2pm yesterday, I got a call from an old friend and old customer of mine (from my old job back when I sold design software to architects and engineers), Walt Zapor.
“Hey Donna, I keep up with you on LinkedIn and see you are always out doing Social Media presentations!”
“Yeah, I do a couple a month.”

Google Voice and Vonage Tips

It seemed like such an easy thing but I couldn’t make it happen. Continue reading

Hearing their woes got me thinking… we back up our hard drives, why not Facebook? Continue reading
My Top 12 Favorite Android Apps
I have a HTC Hero. I took it over to the Sprint store the other day to get the Android OS upgraded since I couldn’t seem to get it to download on it’s own. The Sprint clerk grabbed my phone and tossed it to the guys in back and told me to come back in an hour.
